Ferrra Sleep Oral Strips
Sleep strip · 1mg melatonin
A low dose of melatonin, on a strip, for the nights before and after.
1mg of melatonin that dissolves on your tongue. That's the low end of the range, on purpose: enough to help you fall asleep, not enough for the next-morning grogginess most people get from 5 or 10mg gummies. Raspberry flavor. 30 strips.
Who it's for +
We made this to go with the iron strips. If your periods run heavy, you're often tired two ways at once: low on iron, and not sleeping well the week around your period. The iron strip handles the first one. This handles the second.
It's for occasional use, on the nights you need it. It isn't a fix for long-term sleep problems, and if you've had those for months, that's a conversation with a doctor.
How to take it +
One strip on your tongue, 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Let it dissolve. One a night, maximum.
Don't take it and then drive, or take it before anything that needs you sharp. It makes you drowsy; that's the point.
Melatonin works best with a dark room and a consistent bedtime. It's not strong enough to overpower a screen in your face.
Why 1mg +
Most melatonin sold in the US is 5mg or 10mg, which is many times what your body makes on its own. The higher doses are where the morning fog comes from. The research on melatonin for falling asleep mostly used doses between 0.5mg and 3mg, so that's where we put it.
The strip also contains small amounts of valerian, lavender, chamomile and hibiscus. We're not going to pretend those are doing the heavy lifting; the amounts are modest. The melatonin is the active ingredient.
Ingredients +
Per 210mg strip: Valerian root extract 50mg · Lavender extract 20mg · Chamomile extract 10mg · Hibiscus extract 10mg · Melatonin 1mg.
Other ingredients: pullulan, cellulose, raspberry flavor, malic acid, xylitol, erythritol, sorbitol syrup, medium-chain triglycerides, steviol glycosides.
Sweetened with sugar alcohols and stevia; no sugar. Contains xylitol, which is toxic to dogs, so keep the tin away from pets.
Testing +
Made in the same facility as our iron strips, certified to WHO-GMP and to NSF/ANSI 455-2, the US dietary supplement GMP standard.
Every batch comes with a Certificate of Analysis. It's issued by our supplier, not an independent lab, and we publish it in full.
Buying it +
One tin, $32 + $4.95 shipping. 30 strips.
Cheaper way: add it to an iron box at checkout for $19, and it ships in the same parcel with no extra postage. Most people take iron every day and sleep strips a few nights a month, so one tin lasts a while.
US shipping only for this one. Melatonin is prescription-only in a few countries, so we can't send it there.
Who shouldn't take it +
Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. Anyone under 18. If you take medication, especially blood thinners, blood pressure medication, or anything for mood or seizures, ask your doctor first, because melatonin can interact with them.
Don't take it with alcohol or other things that make you drowsy. If you've had trouble sleeping for more than a few weeks, see a doctor rather than relying on this.

Iron on your tongue, not another hard-to-take pill
Ferrra is a raspberry oral strip that dissolves in under a minute—no water, no empty-stomach rule. 19mg of gentle ferric iron plus 400mcg folate, made for women stocking a simple cycle-month dose instead of a tablet they quit.
Dissolves, no glass needed
One strip on the tongue, once a day, any time. The film is plant-based; raspberry is the flavour, the dark colour is the iron.
A dose you can stay on
19mg ferric saccharate is a daily maintenance amount. If you have been diagnosed with anaemia, ask your doctor before switching.
Honest testing, published
Made in a WHO-GMP and NSF/ANSI 455-2 facility. Every batch has a Certificate of Analysis we publish in full.
One strip a day through a heavy-period month
No water, no empty stomach. Leave an hour around coffee, tea, or calcium so more iron can absorb. Iron builds slowly—most people notice nothing for the first few weeks.
-
Step 1
Peel one strip
Open the tin. One 200mg film is a full day’s dose. Don’t take more than one.
-
Step 2
Let it dissolve
Place it on your tongue. It melts in under a minute. Raspberry flavour; the brown colour is the iron.
-
Step 3
Repeat for 12 weeks
Stay daily through three cycles. The honest check is ferritin now and again at 12 weeks—not a change in your period.
What’s in the film, labelled plainly
Ferric saccharate iron
19mg iron per strip (106% DV) as ferric saccharate—the form in this film. Maintenance, not a treatment dose for diagnosed anaemia.
Folate
400mcg DFE (240mcg folic acid), 100% DV, in the same daily strip so you are not stacking a second tablet.
Plant film, raspberry
Pullulan film with cellulose, lecithin, natural raspberry flavour, monk fruit, and stevia. No sugar, no sucralose, no acesulfame K.

Safety
Do I need water or an empty stomach?
No. One strip on your tongue, once a day, any time. Let it dissolve. Leave about an hour between the strip and coffee, tea, or anything with calcium.
How long before I feel anything?
Iron builds slowly. Most people notice nothing for the first few weeks. It takes roughly three cycles for a ferritin blood test to move. It does not change your period; it replaces iron your period takes.
Can I take Sleep or Bone with iron?
Yes. Add Sleep or Bone strips to an iron box at checkout for $19, same parcel. If you take iron and Bone, use them at different times of day so you don’t forget one. Sleep has 1mg melatonin—not for anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, and US shipping only.
Is 19mg enough if I was told I’m anaemic?
19mg is a daily maintenance dose. If you’ve been diagnosed with anaemia, ask your doctor before switching; they may want you on more.
Who shouldn’t take Ferrra iron?
Anyone with haemochromatosis or iron overload. Children. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your midwife or doctor first. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6—keep the tin out of reach.
90 days to stay with the strip
Take it daily for 12 weeks. If it wasn’t easier to stay on than whatever you took before, email us for a refund. Keep the unused strips; we’ll help you sort the return.
Use a full 12 weeks, then ask for a refund if the format didn’t stick.
Email us—we’ll walk the return. No scavenger hunt for a form.
